Yay For Cricut!

Okay so I am a little slow to starting this blog but... I'm here now and that's all that matters right? Sure it is! First things FIRST, I'm Jenny the Cricut... nice to meet you :D

I am an extension of My 3 Pieces dedicated solely to the wonder and awesomesauce-ness that is the Cricut! My particular Cricut is an Explore Air (as of this post one of the newest models) but there are many useful models available either directly from the Cricut website or any number of brick & mortar retailers.

What I have found so far is this:

1. Youtube (www.youtube.com) is your friend - there are many great demo videos for techniques, tools and projects

2. Google (www.google.com) is very useful - this is just a general thing, when in doubt google it... life or cricut related!

3. The Cricut Website is epic - they have a lot of information available there, you can purchase machines, tools and supplies (keep an eye out for some epic sales - they happen pretty regularly)

4. Facebook Groups - there are a wealth of Facebook groups that have many great people in them that are beyond helpful, here are a few:

Group: Cricut Design Space
Group: Cricut Newbies and Pros
Group: Cricut Newbies and Pros - Explore

Other groups that may be helpful in using your cricut or finding images are those that are related to the Silhouette machine series.

5. Cricut Access Subscription - this allows you access to a library of images digitally via the Cricut Design Space program, this doesn't eliminate the need to purchase images or cartridges but it does allow those who are on a limited budget access to a much larger set of images from which to create things.

Note: not all images in the Cricut library are included in the access subscription - those that aren't can be purchased for a one time fee (either single image/cut file, a group/cartridge or a project) beginning as low as $0.99 USD

this subscription program is paid either monthly or annually (working out to be approximately $7.99 to $9.99 USD +tax as applicable monthly)

6. Chrome Browser - every website and browser based program is usually optimized for use on a particular browser; this doesn't mean that you HAVE to use the optimized browser it just means that said browser will likely be the one that works best... in the case of Cricut Design Space that browser would be Chrome.

Well that is it for now - I really should get back to work! If you want to say hi drop by on social media by clicking any of the tabs on the main page of this blow <3
